Location: In the north of North Male Atoll, 15 km from the airport. Length
about 800 m, width 400 m. Distance to the house reef about 30 m, to the outer
reef 40 m. Transfers by boat from the airport to the island or vice-versa take
approx. 1 1/2 h. by motor boat and 30 min. per speed boat.
What is the island offering: Broad, white beaches and clear blue waters, lush
vegetation with shady palm trees in the interior of the island. Large lagoon good
for windsurfing.
Facilities: Lounge, 2 restaurants, bar, coffee shop, and 2 shops.
Accommodation: 130 nicely furnished rooms. Standard rooms are twin-bedded, with ceiling fan, mini bar, telephone, shower, w.c., terrace. Superior rooms have the same facilities but are additionally air-conditioned. Deluxe rooms are larger and have in addition satellite TV, hair-dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
Sports & Leisure: Swimming pool with pool bar and sun terrace with deck chairs, sauna, massage, gymnasium, tennis hard court with floodlights, squash, water-skiing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing para-sailing. A well run Dive Base with instructions is also available on Lohifushi.
