CLASSIC BALI TRIP
DPS/BTC 16 : 5 Days, 4 Nights

DAY 1 This tour takes you to the village of Batubulan which is well known for its stone carving and famous Barong Dance which emphasises the war between good and evil. After the Barong Dance, we will visit an Ikat weaving factory in Gianyar, and the Kertagosa (Half of Justice) in Klungkung. A short stop at the colorful local market will give you the change to sample a wide variety of local fruits. Continuing to Candidasa, we will stop in a traditional fishing village, the salt mines, and Goa Lawah (Bat Cave). Dinner will be at the local restaurant. Overnight in Candidasa.(D)

DAY 2 Today we explore the region of East Bali, beginning with Tenganan which is one of the last Bali Aga villages. In the province of Karangasem we will see many remains of the former Kingdom, including the Puri Agung Palace with its Tirtagangga (Royal Pool). In Ujung there are beautiful views of the Water Palace and the open sea. We then follow the scenic route to Bangli to visit the Kehen Temple. Lunch will be en route. 

Before reaching your final destination of Ubud, we will take you to visit Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave). Your evening is free to explore Ubud.

DAY 3 After breakfast, you will have some free time to walk around and explore Ubud. Then we will visit Sebatu, a Holy Spring with an attached Temple, where the Balinese believe they can cure many types of illnesses. Our tour continues to Kintamani, a village located high in the mountains with breathtaking views of Mt. Batur and Lake Batur. Lunch will be served in one of the panoramic restaurants in Kintamani. After lunch we will take you to Lovina (North Coast of the island), with stops at the Meduwe Karang Temple and the Beji Temple in Sangsit. You will also get to see Singaraja, the former Capital of Bali. Your evening is free to enjoy Lovina. 

DAY 4 Today, enjoy the dolphin tour, followed by a visit to a Buddhist Monastery and the Banjar Hot Springs. Beautiful scenery abounds on the driver to Bedugul as you pass Lakes Tamblingan and Buyan. Lunch will be served at a restaurant near Lake Bratan. Then we will continue to the memorable Ulun Danu Temple on the shores of Lake Bratan. Overnight accommodation will be in Bedugul. (B,L)

DAY 5 Today we visit the colorful Fruit and Flower Market of Bedugul and then continue to Jatiluwih, a panoramic lookout with fantastic views of some of the most beautiful rice terrace of Bali. We then visit Penebel and Alas Kedaton, the Holy Monkey Forest. Lunch will be en route. Our last stop will be at the famous Tanah Lot Temple to watch a glorious sunset. (B,L)
