Location:
In the centre of the North Male Atoll. Length: about 400 m, width 300 m. Distance to the house reef 5 to 25 m, to the outer reef 10 km. Transfers by speed-boat from the airport to the island or vice-versa take approx. 15 minutes. |

Accommodation:
75 comfortable deluxe rooms situated in separate bungalows, all with air-conditioning, radio, telephone, mini bar, safe, bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, and terrace. The 16 water bungalows are larger and more luxuriously furnished with separate outside shower and direct access to the lagoon. |

Facilities:
Cozy bar, open main restaurant, coffee-shop, grill restaurant
Island offering: Broad, white beaches and blue clear waters, lush vegetation with many shady palm trees in the interior of the island. The large lagoon is very good for windsurfing.

Sports & Recreation:
Diving, sailing, snorkeling, water-ski, table tennis, darts. A well run Dive Base (instructions) and Surf Station (instructions) are also available on Baros. |
