A jewel among the Maldivian resort islands. On this
paradise island you can enjoy your holidays to the full, lazing on the beautiful beach or
swimming in the clear blue waters
Location: In the very middle of the North Male Atoll. Length: about
400 m, width 300 m. Distance to the house reef 5 to 25 m, to the outer reef 10 km.
Transfers by speed-boat from the airport to the island or vice-versa take approx. 15
minutes.
What is the island offering: Broad, white beaches and blue clear
waters, lush vegetation with many shady palm trees in the interior of the island. The
large lagoon is very good for windsurfing.
Facilities: Coazy bar, open main restaurant,
coffee-shop, grill restaurant
Accommodation: 75 comfortable deluxe rooms
situated in separate bungalows, all with
air-conditioning, radio, telephone, mini bar, safe,
bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, and terrace. The 16
water bungalows are larger and more luxuriously furnished with
separate outside shower and direct access to the lagoon.
Sports & Leisure: Diving, sailing, snorkeling,
water-ski, table tennis, darts. A well run Dive
Base (instructions) and Surf Station (instructions) are also available
on Baros.
Meals: When eating at night in one of the
specialty restaurants the pre-paid dinner for
guests on half board and full board will be taken into account.
