Location: In the western part of the North Male Atoll. Length: about
350 m, width 100 m. Distance to the house reef 25 to 100 m, to the outer reef 2 km.
Transfers by motor barge (Dhoni) from the airport to the island takes about 2 hours.
What is the island offering: Broad, white beaches and blue clear
waters, lush vegetation with many shady palm trees in the interior of the island. The
large lagoon is ideal for windsurfing, snorkeling or swimming.
Facilities: Open main restaurant, grill, coffee-shop, Chinese
restaurant, open bar, with large terrace built into the lagoon.
Accommodation: 51 tastefully furnished bungalows, all rooms with
air-conditioning, telephone, mini bar, shower, w.c., music channel, balcony or terrace.
Sports & Leisure: Freshwater swimming pool and sun terrace with
deck chairs. Volleyball, water ski, a well run Dive Base (instructions) and Surf
Station (instructions) are also available on Nakatchafushi. Weekly regular dance evenings
are organized.
Meals: When eating at night in one of the specialty restaurants the
prepaid dinner for guests on half board and full board will be taken into account.
