 MANILA / BAGUIO / MOUNT DATA / BONTOC / BANAUE / MANILA

DAY 01 MANILA / BAGUIO 
Depart Manila either by overland or by air via Philippine Airlines (approx. I hour). Baguio City Tour (approx. 3 hours) : Visit the Easter Weaving School, Silver filigree-making at the University of St. C, Louis, Woodcarvings of the Ifugaos, Mines View Park and Public Market. Check-in at El Cielito Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at El Cielito Hotel. 

DAY 02 BAGUIO / MOUNT DATA 
American Breakfast. Proceed to Mount Data passing along the mountain trail of Benguet Province (approx. 5 hours). Photo stops along the way. Dinner and overnight stay at Mount Data Hotel.

DAY 03 MOUNT DATA / SAGADA / BONTOC / BANAUE 
Aminerican Breakfast. Depart for Sagada, a pastoral upland valley (approx. 3 hours). Arrive in Sagada and visit the burial caves : Matanghib, the oldest cave in Sagada containing coffins which are 400 years old ; Lomilyang, a burial cave containing both old and new coffins made out of pinewood caskets stacked along the wall one on top of the other in some caves. Others, called " hanging coffins " are perched on rock outcroppings within easy sight. Make a short stop in Bontoc to visit the Museum of Mountain Culture by the Belgian Sisters. 

Proceed to Banaue (approx. 3 hours), the ancestral home of the Ifugao tribe. Banaue is the main destination to see the famed rice terraces. Carved out of the mountains almost 2,000 years ago this colossal " stairway to heaven " reaches heights of 1,500 meters and if stretched end to end would extend more than 20,000 kilometers. Arrive and check-in at Banaue Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Banaue Hotel. 

DAY 04 BANAUE 
American Breakfast. Depart for Banga-an Village or Hapao Village (approx.1.5 hours), depending upon road pass ability, in Ford Fiera jeep. Return trip to Banaue. Dinner and overnight stay at Banaue Hotel. 

DAY 05 BANAUE / MANILA
American Breakfast. Return trip to Manila by overland (approx. 10 hours). Lunch enrooted in a simple local restaurant. Arrive in Manila late in the afternoon.
