Orchard Parade Hotel,
flagship hotel of Orchard Parade Holdings, recently embarks on a
two years $ 40 million renovation and refurbishment program. The
renovation, done in phases, is due to be completed in early 1998
when the 30 year-old property transforms into an exciting
Mediterranean-styled hotel in the heart of Orchard Road.
Lobby
Elegantly arched doorways provide the entrances to the beautiful
lobby. The stone floor of the lobby is designed with a border made
of mixed colors mosaic marble. Wrought iron chandeliers are
suspended from the high ceiling and the centre column is treated
specially with matched wrought iron trimming.

Guestrooms
All the guestrooms, including 11 Junior Suites and 7 Corner
Suites will be redesigned in line with the Mediterranean theme.
Dressed in soft pastel colors and earthly browns, the guestrooms
are luxuriously furnished with aesthetic lamps and rich
chestnut-hued furnishings. Modern amenities are thoughtfully
designed for the convenience of the guest with the likes of
bedside control panels, electronic keycard system and in-room
safes. A hand painted ceramic tile adorns the coffee table in
each guestroom. Depicting colorful flowers, these interesting
pieces of art lend a little cheer to the guest after a hard
day's work. With room renovations totaling $12 million , each
room is deluxe in terms of size, comfort and service. In
addition, another 63 rooms will be added to the adjacent
building to meet the ever- increasing demand.
