Just 1 and 1/2 hours by car from the Phuket International Airport, stretches in Phang Nga Province the beautiful Khao Lak Beach, right at the Andaman Sea - a secret for quiet holidays surrounded by lush tropical jungle. Far away from city-live, the nature-lovers will find in Khao Lak National Park absolutely relaxation and will enjoy the unspoiled beaches as well as the beautiful surrounding picture, a change between Rainforest and Rubber-tree plantations.
Takua Pa, about 25 kilometer away, is the next bigger village. In the first millennium, it used to be the main harbor for Indian business traveler, used to live at the Malaysian Coast in a province called "Suwannaphum", they called it "Land of Gold".

Khao Lak
Khao Lak is  one of the latest beach destinations in South Thailand, located 1 1/2 hours drive North of Phuket, on the main land. The area is forest covered hill country, partly belonging to national parks and rubber plantations. The bungalow resorts are stretching out on the kilometers of white sandy beach.
