ENTERING BHUTAN

Entry points into Bhutan are by road through Phuentsholing, a border town with India in the south or by air at Paro. Druk-Air, the national carrier, is the only airline servicing Paro. There are three flights a week to and from Bangkok (twice via Calcutta, India and once via Dhaka, Bangladesh) and two flights a week to and from New Delhi, India via Kathmandu, Nepal.

VISA FORMALITIES

Applications for tourist visa will be processed by Dechen Cultural Tours & Trekking Co., after receiving the booking confirmation. �Visa clearance� from us must be obtained before departing for Bhutan, without which, Druk-Air tickets cannot be purchased. At your port of entry, the visa will be stamped in your passport on payment of USD 20 as visa fees. You will also have to produce two passport size photos for your visa.
