Ayurveda: Let yourself be pampered back to fitness and health through Ayurveda, by doing a cure at the hotel's Ayurveda Centre under competent medical supervision. Ayurveda is a health system that has been practised in Sri Lanka and India for many thousand years. It relies solely on natural medicines. Ayurveda has helped even in cases that seemed hopeless, where western medicine had failed. This "Science of Life" is aimed at giving human beings better and longer life. Ayurveda is recommended to all those seeking inward balance or equilibrium, a long and health life and to all those who like to experience the fullness of life. Ayurveda is conducive to your health, provides you with new vital energy, invigorates your powers of resistance and selfhea-ling and maintains the efficiency of mind and body even in old age.
Ayurvedic treatments: This consists of doctor's consultation, ayurvedic medicines, Yoga & Thai Chi, meditation, all treatments accommodation with full board (all meals). The Ayurveda Well-being Cure is a one to two weeks? programme which serves mainly to take care of your health and maintain it, and which refreshes you and strengthens your body’s immunity and healing powers. This cure is for anyone who does not have any specific health problems but is seeking relief from stress of everyday life and would like to maintain or increase efficiency. This cure follows a basic programme of three treatments daily, plus a number of additional treatments tailored to suit your special needs. This purification or beauty program can be combined with a weight-loss diet. You will receive an average of 3 – 4 treatments per day. The Ayurveda Complete Cure is a two to three weeks' programme for those who have neglected themselves for far too long and feel a need to regenerate the body and soul from head to toe. This programme, which comprises 13 or more days, included the majority of traditional proven treatments of the Ayurveda healing experience. With this programme, you receive 4 – 5 treatments daily which are prescribed by out consultants. The Ayurveda Special Cure is a three week course, or longer if required, for the treatment or follow-up treatment of various illnesses. The course of treatment does not follow a specific programme determined in advance but it is put together on individual basis by the consultants. As a general rule, you receive 5 – 8 treatments per day.
