Location:
The transfer time from Bangkok to the pier near Trad takes around 4 hours (3 hours from Pattaya). There are also several daily flights from Bangkok to Trad. The distance from the Airport to the  Ao Thammajat ferry is 15 km. The ferry crossing takes 30 - 45 minutes.

The Tropicana Resort is located directly at the Klong Praow Beach, around 30 minutes drive from the pier.

Facilities:
This fine beach resort is a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The 77 single and double story bungalows are placed harmoniously around the well maintained garden. A large pool with jacuzzi and integrated children's pool is situated right at the beach. 

Accommodation:
The Superior Bungalows are comfortable designed with a large bathroom, shower/WC, hair dryer, A/C, sealing fan, safe, Tel., Sat.-TV, mini-bar and terrace.
The Deluxe Bungalows offer additional coffee & tea making facilities and are located closer to the pool and beach.

Sports & Recreation:
The reception can arrange excursions such as diving or snorkeling tours or elephant rides through the jungle. Spa with traditional Thai massage.
