GENERAL
BOOKING CONDITIONS
All
rates in Thai Baht (THB)
ATN ASIATOURS CO., LTD.
(subsequently called ATN)
is located in Bangkok, Thailand and acts as an agent for
individual tourist services (e.g. hotel stays, car rental) and
conveyance services (e.g. domestic flights, transfers or bus
roundtrips). The following conditions apply for any booking with ATN.
With the booking, the customer confirms his acceptance of the GENERAL
BOOKING CONDITIONS, listed below.
Description
and sale of the tourism related products and services takes place
over the Internet. Hotel stays, car rentals, domestic flights etc.
are 3rd party services
and there are certain rules established for the sale of these
tourism related products and services over the Internet. For ATN
these are found below. If however the rules for
procurements set by the 3rd party differ from those of ATN,
then the rules of the 3rd party will take precedent and apply.
Flights to and from Thailand are not arranged by ATN.
I.
CONTENT OF CONTRACT
Your
booking order with ATN,
to provide an individual tourist service such as a hotel stay, car
rental or a conveyance, can be done in writing, verbally, by
telephone or online. Your
booking order will also apply to all participants who are listed
in the booking, for which the ordering customer will take their
liabilities, just like he does for himself.
With the booking through ATN,
the contract is passed to the respective agent. The acceptance
from our side can happen in writing, verbally, by telephone or
online. For the confirmation, you will receive a hotel voucher and
the invoice.
Our
contractual duty is the proper procurement
of
the booked tourist services or conveyances.
1.
Reconfirmation and due date for payments
Bookings need to be
re-confirmed by the customer within
72 hours by reply email, otherwise we
might not be able to hold the reservation(s).
For "Short-Notice" bookings, re-confirmation
and pre-payment is required within 24 hours.
After receiving the payment,
the reservation will be guaranteed and we will
issue you a printable voucher (by email).
Failure to reconfirm the booking and settling the payment (or
deposit payment for early bookings) may result in cancellation
of the booked services.

II.
PAYMENT
1.
Full
pre-payment (latest 1 month before arrival) is required for all
tourism related services booked through
ATN.
For
"
last-minute
bookings,“
payment is
due after
receiving the invoice.
Without prior payment, the provision of the booked
services
may be refused.
2.
For high season bookings, full payment after confirmation of the
booking or a 20% deposit payment is required to guarantee the
booking. The rest payment is due 1 month before arrival in this
case.
3. Refund of credit card payments: Credit card payments
can be cancelled by ATN on the day of the transaction.
Later refunds we have to request at the Siam Commercial Bank and
will take usually 7 - 18 days to process.

III.
CANCELLATION / CHANGE OF BOOKINGS/COMPLAINTS
The
client can change or cancel a booking at anytime before the start
of a trip. Depending
on the date the third party agent / hotel receives the
notice of cancellation/change, the amount of
the cancellation fee can vary. Usually hotels charge between 1-3
nights per room, for no-shows (especially during the high season)
they might charge the whole invoice amount.
In addition to the fees charged by the third party, ATN
is entitled to charge an additional cancellation fee as
compensation for administrative efforts and
loss due to paid credit card fees.

car has been taken over, no refund possible)
4. Package Tours
and Golf Programs
1.1.
8+ days before start of the tour: 25 %
1.2. 7 days or less before
start of the tour: 50 %
1.3.
No-Sow: 100 %
In
case of any irregularities ATN should be informed immediately
and given the chance to solve the problem. If the case is only
reported after the end of the service, ATN does not accept responsibility.

IV.
LIABILITY
OF ATN AS INTERMEDIARY
Information
about the arbitrated
tourism
services or conveyances are solely based on the information
provided by the third
party agents and hotels to us and do not represent an assurance of
ATN to customer.
The information provided by ATN
is given without any guarantee expressed or otherwise. Between the
third party agent / hotel and the customer, ATN
acts exclusively as an intermediary
and
acts on the directions of the agent.
ATN
will forward customer request for specific rooms, views or
locations to the hotel but without any obligation. If possible,
depending on the occupancy, the hotel will try to meet a customers
request.

V.
INSURANCE
We recommend you secure a special travel insurance package in your
home country to cover loss of luggage, cancellations and health
expenses.

VI.
INFORMATION ABOUT
PASSPORT-, VISA-, CUSTOMS-, CURRENCY- AND HEALTH REGULATIONS
1. Every
traveler is responsible for his compliance with the domestic and
foreign visa-, customs-, currency exchange- and health
regulations.
2.
Since many regulations depend on the nationality of the traveler,
a guarantee for the given information is not taken by ATN.
3. We would like to
point out that a change of regulations and political or
environmental conditions may occur at any time. Therefore we
recommend checking with
the news media, embassies and or hospitals / tropical institutes
about the latest information or restrictions for the countries you
will be traveling to.
